Baltimore Blast Announce New Assistant Coach

The Baltimore Blast have brought back a familiar name to be on the bench! The Blast are excited to announce Aduato Neto as the assistant coach.

Neto is no stranger in the Baltimore area. After spending two stints with the Blast (2005-2008 and 2010-2015), Neto has achieved much success as the Head Coach at Concordia Prep and President of BRAUSA Futbol Club. Blast Head Coach David Bascome is excited to have Neto become a part of the staff, "Neto has been a strong part of the soccer community and served the Blast as a great player and led us to 3 championships. Neto's knowledge, passion, and commitment to the game will help the direction we are looking to go in. Neto will be a great fit with our soccer family and I am looking forward to sharing this coaching journey with him."

The Blast legend is very excited to begin. "I would like to thank Mr. Ed Hale, General Manager Gianni Tumminello, and Head Coach David Bascome for giving me this opportunity and for believing in me to help during the 2021-2022 season as an assistant coach. The Blast has done so much for me and my family and we are very grateful. We believe it's the right time to give back to a great organization and with commitment and hard work we hope to accomplish great things together. Let's goooo Blast!"

The Blast will kick off their 2021-2022 home schedule on Saturday, December 4th. Season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Blast office at 410-73-BLAST.
